Board President
Beverly Quist is an active member of our community. As a professor of criminal justice at Mohawk Valley Community College, she has developed courses in restorative justice and mediation. In addition to her service on The Peacemaker Program Board of Directors, she has served on the Boards of the YWCA of the Mohawk Valley, GroWest, the League of Women Voters of Utica/Rome, the Criminal Justice Educators Association of New York State, the New York State Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and the Justice Studies Association. She is a recognized leader in her field with awards that include the State University of New York Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Mohawk Valley Community College “Make a Difference Award”.
