Mediation can solve all types of conflicts.

Mediation works well in almost any type of conflict.  Below are just a few examples of common mediation topics, split into two basic categories:

Family Mediation includes:

  • Parenting plans; including custody, visitation and child support arrangements
  • Divorce or separation
  • Workplace or employment cases
  • Disputes between parents and children

Community Mediation includes:

  • Small claims and supreme court cases
  • Consumer/merchant disputes
  • Landlord-tenant disputes
  • Neighbor disputes, including neighborhood or homeowner groups
  • Peer/school disputes
  • Commercial or contract disputes
  • Special education (IEP)/school disputes

Other Alternatives:

In addition to Mediation services, we offer alternatives such as Arbitration and Facilitation that are more specialized.

Arbitration is a method of dispute resolution where a neutral third party (the arbitrator) is empowered to determine the settlement of the issue. Their decision is final and binding on the parties, and is enforceable in a court of law.

Facilitation is designed for large groups or whole organizations who need to create a plan or resolve complex disputes.
